A small, dedicated group in Tennessee. Dogs 2nd Chance has tireless volunteers who work to help dogs in this small, Tennessee community find homes and get the vetting they need. Death Row Dogs is an inspiring program which gives fortunate dogs and inmates a chance to bond. This program enables a dog to be trained by handpicked inmates in the Kentucky prison system, using a specially-formulated curriculum. These dogs and trainers spend hours together and focus on the goals laid out in the training program. Graduation day is special for everyone involved and one lucky adoptive family will be blessed with a dog who has developed very attractive skills.
Death Row Dog graduates are available for transport to the New England area every Saturday. Graduation for each class is posted on the Death Row Dog site. If you're interested, please fill out an application or email us at homesforhappydogs@comcast.net with specific questions.
